1. Unforgiven. In my opinion, the most entertaining movie I've ever seen.

3. The Shootist. In my opinion John Wayne's best movie.

5. Red River. Number 3 of Wayne's best work.

6. High Noon. Gary Cooper. A fantasy, but strong.

7. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

8. The Outlaw Josey Wales.

9. Blazing Saddles.

10. Open Range. Underrated.

11. One Eyed Jacks.

12. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

13. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence. Another Wayne effort, but Lee Marvin stole the show.

14. The Long Riders. Epic and accurate, from one point of view.

15. The Magnificent 7.

16. Shane.

17. Dances With Wolves.

18. Winchester '73.

19. Stagecoach. You want a star? How about John Wayne.

20. Melody Ranch. You gotta have a singing cowboy, so you might as well throw in Jimmy Durante.
